James told me that the simple act of buying a cup of tea or coffee at The Wandering Teapot means that profits will go back into youth mentoring, children’s counselling and other vital community programs!

The first Wandering Tea Pot tearoom opened in Stockland Hervey Bay September 2018, and in April 2019 they opened their second Café located at the Hervey Bay Community Centre. With more exciting things happening over the next few months to create job and training opportunities for unemployed youth in the region…it is a great cause to get behind.

Community3 (Community Cubed)

The Wandering Teapot, a CommuniTEA Café, has opened Community3 at Stockland Hervey Bay in the Shoreline Cafe court area. It focuses on inspiring innovation, supporting independence and improving employment opportunities for small start-up businesses, local entrepreneurs and not-for-profits. This model extends beyond the traditional style of addressing unemployment and creating change in our community.

About the Wandering Tea Pot

Since 1989 this community organisation has empowered thousands of vulnerable people to regain their dignity and lead a happy and independent life again. In 2018 we launched our socially minded tea shop to help support these life-changing community programs. Their social enterprise vision is to help those less fortunate through a simple action - a cup of tea.  With every purchase made, 100% of profits go straight back into compassionate projects that are proven to foster community independence.
