You can’t stop us! There is nothing young people cannot do!

Amongst the gloves, masks, Glen-20 and hand sanitiser, Lake Keepit NSW was wowed by another Youth Insearch Weekend Workshop, held over 12-14 March 2021.

This was the first workshop in NSW since Christmas 2019 for these young people, and the first for the Trainee Leaders who completed their training virtually.

All the virtual planning came together and was delivered like they did the last one just last week. What a bunch of superstars!

It was such a gift to watch young lives shift, the light return to previously dark eyes, and the hearts that were closed up and alone – started shining, warm and full of hope.

The strength, resilience, determination and courage of young people is inspiring.

The gloves were sweaty and the masks uncomfortable, but their determination to come together was for stronger than any physical distancing restriction placed upon them.

Congratulations to the Youth and Trainee Leaders – you have once again shown us why we must keep going.

Rebuilding young lives with Love in Action.

Volunteers with hearts so big, the young people felt safe to step up and face, head on, the issues that were holding them back.

Thank you to Rotary District 9650, Joblink Plus, and all the volunteers who once again delivered the best youth program in Australia.

We are always looking out for adult volunteers to come along and support the young people who participate in our program. Involvement in Youth Insearch is an incredibly rewarding opportunity, and is such an asset to these young people who may not have had any adult role models in their lives previously.

To apply to volunteer with us, please submit your details via our Adult Involvement application.
