Trainee Leader Spotlight - Ali from Victoria

Ali attended the first Virtual Stage 1 Leaders Training in July, and shares their journey with us... 

In March 2018 I attended my first Weekend Workshop in Rawson, Victoria. I was 15. 

There were lots of things going on in my life and some of them I didn’t understand. By attending the Weekend Workshops, I have now been to 8, I was supported by my peers to work through the things that were holding me back. I worked really hard on myself and that is something I am really proud of.

I recently got accepted into the Youth Insearch Leadership Program and I am excited to have the opportunity to build my skills to help other young people. Without Youth Insearch being present in my life, I wouldn’t be the person that I am today and there is still more growth to come. 

We are thrilled to have Ali taking this step!
